Lady Shaneil “PJ” (Curley) Yarbrough was born in Russellville, AR, September 9, 1978, to Charley Roy Nichols and Marsheill Finley. Lady Shaneil is the third of four girls that her mother bore. Due to her biological parent’s inability to care for her and her sisters, she became a ward of the state in her toddler years. Through God’s divine appointment, she and her three sisters were adopted together and reared in Calion, AR by Andrew and Ernestine Curley.
Lady Shaneil attended public school in Norphlet and graduated in 1996. After high school, she attended Southern Arkansas University (SAU) in Camden and Magnolia and majored in Early Childhood Education. In 1998, she obtained her Associate of Arts degree and in 2000, she received her Bachelor’s degree. In the near future, she plans to complete her Masters degree in Early Childhood Education. With teaching as her passion, for over 10 years, her career in the field of Early Childhood has brought her great success.
Shortly before meeting Pastor Larry D., Lady Shaneil fully committed her life to Lord and was filled with the Holy Ghost on SAU Magnolia’s campus. With a new outlook on life as a new wife (2000) and mother (2001 & 2004), Shaneil accepted her calling to witness late in 2004 and began to proclaim God’s word; sharing her personal testimony each time an opportunity was presented. In 2009, she was consecrated as an Evangelist Missionary in the COGIC under Bishop Wallace Johnson, Prelate of the Fourth Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of Arkansas Church of God In Christ.
Wife, mother, pastor’s wife, daughter, sister, teacher, motivational speaker, and friend are all titles that can be used to describe Lady Shaneil “PJ” Yarbrough. Nevertheless, the most important is Woman of God -- saved, sanctified, and filled with the precious spirit of the Lord. Her motto is that you can strive to go higher, rise above obstacles, and live in health, abundance, and victory!
